Environmental - This project used non-asbestos roof sheeting for new home buildings, roof renovations, and toilets. Habitat provided training, and raised awareness on the risk of using these toxic materials in the community. As a result of this education and training programs, 63,000 people in three districts use nonasbestos materials.
Gender Equality - On average, 54% of beneficiaries were women and girls. We helped women gain a voice in decision-making processes throughout the program.
Climate Change - By empowering community members with the right skills, families can now strengthen their homes in preparation for disasters
