Surprisingly didn’t have an issue with the balance, it seems to stand up fine - although the assembly was tough. I had to shove around 10cm of the stiff cord into the shaft of the stand to put the two pieces together, and then the holes for the screws didn’t line up properly so I could only get one **** in.
It would also be great if the description was more clear about it being metal not wood - but that’s also my own fault for not double checking
Well if you want to be contacted 5 separate times by these guys asking for a review, then this is the lamp for you! My dog is less needy I swear. The lamp is good; no, it’s not wood, if it was then you can kiss your house goodbye in a fire. Use some common sense there. It’s a decent lamp and haven’t had any problems so far.
The lamp matches our space so well. The quality is great!
Unlike a few of the other reviews I really love this lamp. Didn’t bother me that it wasn’t real wood. The weight of it makes it sturdy than some of the Kmart lamps I’ve had previously. Mine doesn’t wobble about and I found it easy to put together. Such a unique shape. Yes, not the most suitable if you’re wanting to tuck it away in the corner of the room but it’s a gorgeous statement piece. The shade will gather dust easily being the crinkly shape but a dustpan easily fixes that. I’ve had many compliments on this lamp in my home.
very expensive for not real wood
Very disappointed with quality of the lamp. The base is very flimsy and unstable. The top of the lamp is heavy and it tends to fall on the side. Struggling to keep upright. The overall height is too low. We bought the lamp to have it next to the bed. Way too low and is right at the height of your head when sitting in the bed.
