Yes the legs are a different shade than the rest of the unit. Personally, I think it adds character. However, clients do like transparency and as the depicted legs are significantly different than what is being shipped, I think Lifely should offer a gift card for the discrepancy.
Took me many hours to assemble, but then again I've never assembled a dresser.
Keep in mind that the finish of the material reflects grease easily. To get the finish you see on the website images you would need to wipe down regularly.

After asking the business for photos or videos to make sure of colour I was ensured it is true to colour as they didn’t have any images other than what’s on the site. It definitely isn’t. The timber is VERY orange/red in colour and not a natural dark timber looking stain as in the images. Quite disappointed :(
